Preparing an Editorial
Editorials are short personal perspectives relevant to the aims of the Japan Institutional Gateway on F1000Research.
Specifically, they have been developed to enable advisors overseeing the Japan Institutional Gateway to announce the launch of their Gateway, to explain its aims and scope and specific processes, or communicate policies or other developments that are directly relevant to the group of researchers they represent. Advisors can publish no more than two Editorials per year.
Editorials are not formally peer reviewed and must not include new research and data. They are evaluated by the editorial team in house, if necessary in consultation with Gateway Advisors. Editorials can only be submitted by invitation and ultimate editorial responsibility for the Editorial lies with F1000Research’s Publishing Director.

Preparing an Editorialの準備
Editorialは、F1000ResearchのJapan Institutional Gatewayの目的に関連して、短く個人的な視点を述べたものになります。
具体的には、Japan Institutional Gatewayを総括するアドバイザーが、ゲートウェイの立ち上げを発表したり、その目的と領域(aims and scope)や具体的なプロセスを説明したり、コミュニケーションの方針、代表する研究者グループに直接関係する進展などをアナウンスするために設けられました。 アドバイザーは、年に最大２報のEditorialを出版できます。
Editorialは正式には査読されないため、新しい研究やデータを含めることはできません。必要に応じてゲートウェイアドバイザーと相談して、社内の編集チームによって評価されます。Editorialは依頼された場合にのみ投稿でき、Editorialの最終的な編集責任はF1000Researchのパブリッシングディレクターにあります。
