Rapid and transparent dissemination of open research into health services
The Health Services Gateway is an open research hub focused on the systems and policies that shape the delivery of healthcare. By offering rapid publication of a range of article types that will be available to read without restrictions, the Health Services Gateway supports the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goal 3, to ensure healthy lives and promote wellbeing for all at all ages.
In particular, the Gateway is committed to the following targets within SDG 3:
Target 3.8, to achieve universal health coverage.
Target 3.D, to strengthen the capacity for early warning, risk reduction and management of national and global health risks.
Our open data policy means that other researchers can use and build on your work, enabling the collaboration required to achieve these targets.
F1000Research’s publishing model provides an alternative to traditional journals that is open, transparent and author-led. Once your article passes our in-house editorial team’s prepublication checks, it will be published within a week so it can be read and cited as soon as possible. Reviewers then assess the research after publication, with their reports and authors’ responses made publicly available with the article. When your article passes peer review it will be indexed in Scopus, PubMed and Google Scholar, among others.
