Scope
The Health Services Gateway welcomes submissions in the following areas of health services research:

- Healthcare Delivery: healthcare accessibility, patient flow, universal health coverage, primary care, community health, operation management
- Healthcare Finance & Economics: health financing, health service efficiency, pharmaceutical economics, resource allocation, health insurance
- Healthcare & Social Policy: health education, health legislation, health equity
- Healthcare Management & Governance: comparative effectiveness, incident reporting, productivity analysis, risk management, healthcare administration
- Health Informatics: artificial intelligence, biostatistics, database management, patient records, imaging informatics

The Digital Health area includes research into technology that supports the delivery of healthcare, such as mobile health apps, telemedicines and digital therapeutics.
The Health System Quality & Safety area showcases research that evaluates quality of care and patient safety, as well as the strategies aiming to improve them.
The Healthcare Delivery area includes research on the accessibility of healthcare systems and their ability to meet the needs of the population.
The Healthcare Finance & Economics area highlights research into how health services are funded and how resources are allocated.
The Healthcare & Social Policy area includes research into how policies and legislation can improve the health of a society.
The Healthcare Management & Governance area shows research into how hospitals and health systems are run to effectively deliver health services.
The Health Informatics area includes research into the use of patient data in the delivery of health services.
