About this Collection

Future of Research (FoR) symposium is a nonprofit with the mission of addressing critical challenges to junior researchers in academia. Solutions to problems affecting the scientific enterprise are discussed through local conferences, and through data collection and dissemination to promote transparency about academia. The results from the first FoR symposium are summarized in this article. This collection will host articles, posters and slides about the state of the​​ research enterprise.
