BioJS components are pieces of web software mainly written in JavaScript for the visualisation of biological data that can be easily utilised, shared and extended. This collection conveniently groups a number of BioJS articles under a single interface.
A brief description of the component's functionality, design attributes and potential extensions appear in each published article. Although it is not required to publish each individual BioJS component in F1000Research, they are all very welcome to be part of this growing collection. A carefully selected set of components has been chosen for the launch of this collection.
Read the Editorial by Manuel Corpas, the project coordinator for BioJS for more details.
